The Cedars is the home of Sir Hans Heysen OBE 1877 -1968 Artist and nine times winner of the Wynne Prize for Landscape.
The Cedars remains in the Heysen family and is open to the public for visits and tours to help people interpret the depth and skill of this great Australian artist.
The Cedars is managed by Allan Campbell, Curator whose passion and knowledge of the work of Hans Heysen and his daughter Nora Heysen provide a wonderful resource for visitors.
Proceeds of ticket sales for Tours and retail sales contribute towards the maintenance of the house, studios and property.
The Nora Heysen Foundation is a trust holding important works by the artist Nora Heysen who was Australia's first woman to win the Archibald Prize.
